Patient Admission Tools

Patient Admission Tools is a tool designed specifically for demonstrating PICIX and IECG functionalities. It provides the capability to generate HL7 messages for key healthcare workflows, including patient admission, lab results, ECG orders and spot-check results. Once generated, the HL7 messages are automatically exported to designated IBE shared folders. To enable this feature, connection points to the IBE file directory must be configured in the factory default settings.

ADT

This function automatically generates patient demographic data with names available in multiple languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Spanish. The registration process sends an A04 message, while the Auto ADT function generates an A01 message for patient admission. If Auto ADT is enabled, you must discharge the patient to remove the ADT record from PICIX. Failure to do so will result in PICIX continuously prompting you to either complete the admission or delay it.

Patients Management

This function is to transfer, discharge the patient, remove the patient from database and select the patients to create the lab results or orders.

Results, Orders and More

From the Patient tab, you can select patients and generate lab results, place orders or spot-check measurement result. These lab results, ECG orders, or vital sign are then sent to PICIX, IECG, or an ECG machine, depending on the workflow. This allows for a seamless demonstration of the system's capabilities. By integrating patient data with lab results and orders, the tool provides an efficient way to showcase the entire workflow. This streamlined process offers an intuitive interface for demonstration purposes, making it easier to impress customers with the smooth and practical functionality of the system.
